    Lunchtime support, Monday - Friday term time only

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and pro-active person to join our friendly team to help our children during lunch times from 11:45 - 1:15 Monday to Friday during term time only.

    The main responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting and supervising children whilst they eat their lunch, encouraging good table manners and healthy eating.
    • Assisting with serving food and support the children with handwashing
    • Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
    • Ensuring a smooth transition from lunch to afternoon activities.
    There is the possibility for increased hours and support with completing qualifications in Childcare. Previous experience of working with children is welcomed but not essential.

    Early years practitioner, Level 3 qualified – Temporary Position until July 2027. Part time. Pay Rate: £13.20 p/h. Start date: 1st September 2026 or soon after.

    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner Level 3 qualified to join our small, holistic, child led setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young children, supporting their early development in a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.

    As an Early Years Practitioner Level 3 you will play a vital part in creating a warm and welcoming space where children can explore, learn and grow through child led play and in the moment learning. We act as facilitators supporting their individual interest or fascinations and look for teachable moments to support that learning.

    We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Play Assistant with a Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification to join our pre-school team for the new academic year in Autumn 2026. The role is for 12 months, to help support a child with an EHCP.

    We are looking for someone to join our team to work 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:15am – 4:00pm), term-time only. We offer competitive rates of pay that reflect your experience (ranging from £13.87 - £14.25 for a Level 3) and half pay during the school holidays.

    The ideal candidate will have a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification, with experience of working in early years and good knowledge of the EYFS, who enjoys supporting children’s learning and development and taking part in a variety of play-based activities.

    Certificates in child protection and paediatric first aid are desirable. A clear enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate before they commence the role.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Manager to lead our friendly preschool team and create a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children play, learn and thrive.  Hours: 30.5 hours per week during LEA term times (39 weeks). Additional hours worked will be at the discretion of the Committee. Salary: £20,800 to £22,000 (actual annual salary). Depending on experience and qualifications.

    The manager has overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the playgroup, ensuring high quality care and education for all children and compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and all relevant legislation.

    We are looking for an organised and proactive Business Support Manager to ensure the smooth running of our playgroup behind the scenes, providing excellent administrative, financial and operational support to the Manager, staff and Committee. Hours: 22.5 hours per week during LEA term times (39 weeks). Some flexibility may be required during busy periods. Salary: To be agreed depending on experience and qualifications. 

    The Business Support Manager provides essential administrative, financial and operational support to ensure the playgroup runs efficiently and complies with legal and funding requirements. This role works closely with the Manager, Committee and staff but does not have responsibility for safeguarding, EYFS delivery or staffing ratios.

    Would you like the opportunity to work in our popular preschool setting PATA @ Little Everlands based in Cams Everlands School, Dursley. 

    If so, we are looking for a friendly person to do some light cleaning duties each day from 3:00pm – 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Initially this is a fixed term contract until July 2027 to begin 1 September 2026 or soon after, with the option to be made permanent. Cleaning duties will include daily vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning the kitchen and toilets, together with additional daily/weekly tasks. Pay rate: £12.71 per hour.

    The successful candidate must enjoy working around children, be DBS checked or obtain a DBS clearance (via PATA) to work at the setting (as children may be on site) and be thorough and efficient.  Please get in touch if this sounds like you!

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioner required, 3 days a week (8:30am – 3:00pm Monday, Wednesday, & either a Tuesday or Thursday), term-time only. Fixed term contract until July 2027. Start Date: September 2026 or as soon as possible after.

    We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of the setting.  The successful candidate must be keen, enthusiastic and committed to helping children become the best they can be.  You will need experience of working at level 3 or above in early years.  Certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.

    Level 3 Early Years Support Worker at Kings Stanley Playgroup. Hours per week: up to 19.5hrs over 3 days. Days: Monday: 830am – 3:00pm, Wednesday 8:30am – 3:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm. Plus 1 hour staff meeting – Wednesday’s 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
