    Early Years Practitioner, Permanent, Part Time, 20 hours per week, Term Time only, Monday – Friday 9am - 3pm. Start Date: ASAP

    We are seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner. This position requires a passionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional care and support to children in an early years setting.

    Brief description of duties and responsibilities include ensuring that children are properly cared for and supervised; including feeding, self-care and changing nappies. Supporting children’s play and relationships, preparing meals and snacks, involving the children as much as possible. Ensure fruit and vegetables are purchased for snacks on a rota basis. Implement the principles of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Support children's independence and development. Monitor, track and record children's development and provide core feedback to parents in person and through tapestry, in conjunction with the manager, and carry out parent consultations events as required. To contribute to managing inventory, ordering materials resources and consumables. Keep the nursery clean, tidy and organised. Contribute to planning if necessary. Attending Friday morning review meeting and regular staff meetings. Working to promote safeguarding, equality and diversity and values in the setting. Administering First Aid and medication if qualified and filling in accident forms. Reporting Accidents to the management.

    We are seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to join our team as a SENCO Early Years Practitioner. This position requires a passionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional care and support to children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in an early years setting.

    Brief description of duties and responsibilities include to manage SEND provision, ensuring individual requirements are met, monitor and record children's development and support children with special needs. To maintain records and communicate progress to parents and professionals regularly. You will assist in staff training on inclusive practices, collaborate with management for effective SEN provision and work with external agencies to support individualised provision. You will be able to implement the principles of EYFS, contribute to planning, activities, and routines as well as develop and implement personalised plans for children with special needs. Be able to support children's care, play, relationships, and development, support children with toileting and transitions, be able to administer First Aid and medication if qualified and filling in accident forms and report accidents to the management.

    You will be required to have a Level 3 Qualification in early years education with experience as a SENCO. Have knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, development and learning needs and an ability to assess and access children's development whilst being caring and compassionate towards diverse needs.

    Lead Early Years Practitioner Position, Part-time, Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover (until approximately Feb 25). Hours: Monday 8:30am – 3:30pm, Tuesday 8:30am – 1:15pm, Wednesday 8:30am – 3:30pm, Thursday 3hrs with 30mins PPA. The total hours would be 22 hours 15mins per week, 39 weeks a year (term time including INSETs). Total hours and days can be flexible for the right person. Salary range between £11.44 and £15.00 per hour subject to qualifications and experience.

    We are a voluntary-run charity based in the Leigh Building, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in picturesque Nympsfield. We are open Monday to Friday, term time only.

    We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable individual who is enthusiastic, uses their initiative and is very patient and adaptable. It is desirable (but not essential) for applicants to have First Aid and Safeguarding or be willing to complete this, at the cost of the setting. Applicants must have a minimum Level 3 qualification and experience in Early Years settings. Applicants will develop a good knowledge of the EYFS, be able to work as part of an established team and develop excellent communication skills.     Playworker required, Permanent position, Term time only, Approx. 11 hours a week (can offer more or less if needed),  7:40am – 8:40am (Mon - Fri) and 3:15pm - 5:15pm (Mon - Weds). Start date to be arranged. 

    Mother Goose is a relaxed, friendly play setting for children before and after school located at Eastington Primary School and Great Oldbury. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our growing business. Any qualifications or experience will be a bonus but not essential. All training will be provided. Possibility for more hours if needed. Pay will be determined on experience.

    Due to an increased demand for places, we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Play Practitioner with a Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification to join our pre-school team.

    The role will commence in June 2024 and will be for approximately 40 hours per week, term-time only, with the possibility of additional flexible hours if required. Rate of pay is £12.50 per hour, with half pay in the school holidays. Candidates who are invited for interview will also be invited to a stay and play session.

    We are looking for someone with a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification, experience of working in an early years environment with a good knowledge of the EYFS. You must enjoy supporting and understanding the importance of children’s learning and development through a variety of play-based activities and be able to provide a fun, stimulating and safe environment for a child to learn and grow.

    Certificates in child protection and first aid will be required, but could be obtained during the probation period if necessary.

    Job responsibilities include supporting a group of Key children and taking responsibility for their record keeping to carry out observations, planning and assessments. You will prepare and carry out activities to challenge and support the children’s learning and development, undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g. preparation of snack, meals and cleansing of equipment within in the pre-school. You will communicate effectively within the staff team and liaise with and supporting parents/carers.

    Nursery Practitioner (Level 3), Grade 5, (approx. Starting Salary £22,295), 37 hours per week - 39 weeks per year (includes INSET).

    This is a unique opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join us in the running of a nursery and pre-school facility for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. The nursery opened in September 2021 as part of Great Oldbury Primary Academy. This is a chance to join a highly experienced and professional team with the aim of providing an excellent early years setting for local children.

    The successful candidates will be passionate about working in childcare, supporting a team and someone who relishes the challenge of keeping practice current and relevant. You will be responsible to the Nursery Manager.
