    SEN playgroup assistant required,  fixed term position to 31 August 2018, term-time only, applicants need appropriate level 2 or 3. Pay rate £7.50/hour. We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated, caring and responsible person to join our dedicated team. The role is primarily to work with a colleague providing 1:1 support for a child with cerebral palsy, being their key worker and principle carer. In addition, you will carry out general play assistant duties and support the playleader. Applicants must have a good knowledge of the EYFS and ideally relevant experience with SEN children. Initially the position is 18 hours a week, term-time only, from 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Wednesday, with a potential increase of 6 hours to include Thursdays 9:00am-3:00pm from January 2018. We are a small charity, committee run playgroup based in the St Marks area of Cheltenham, providing childcare for children aged 2-5 years. We are seeking a new member of staff to work alongside a small team. At St Marks & Hesters Way Playgroup we pride ourselves on providing a home from home experience, planning activities for the children through a mix of adult and child led play.     Play assistant required as supply/bank staff, term time only. A friendly, parent-run community playgroup situated on the edge of Rodborough Common is looking for someone to work with our five established staff and all our children (aged 2.5-4 years) as part of our supply team. We are open Monday-Friday, 8:45am–3:00pm. You will need to have safeguarding training or a willingness to complete this. Pay rate is £7.20 an hour.     Qualified level 3 practitioner required to run the pre-school room, 40 hours a week, full time position. The ideal applicant will be energetic, enthusiastic, motivated, organised and will have good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS. Job responsibilities include: key children and the responsibility of their record keeping; carrying out observations, planning and assessments with support from the pre-school room assistant; preparing and carrying out activities to challenge and support the children’s learning and development; undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery; communicate effectively within the staff team; liaise with and support parents/carers. We are a well-established after school club caring for up to 50 children aged 4-10 years, open 25 years in March. Our focus is on free play and we have a wide variety of toys, games & activities on offer every day.
