Supporting Boys to Achieve

Course Aim: To support practitioners to gain a deeper understanding of how boys learn and develop strategies to channel their energies using practical ideas and reflective practice.

Course Information: Research shows that there can be a massive gap in the development of boys compared to girls, with some being a whole year behind.  This course will consider ways to adapt your environment to make it more appropriate for some children’s active learning styles and movement, by being creative in capturing boys interests with engaging and hands on activities.

"All children, irrespective of ethnicity, culture or religion, home language, family background, learning difficulties or disabilities, gender or ability should have the opportunity to experience a challenging and enjoyable programme of learning and development." (EYFS Statutory Guidance).
