Course Aim: this session aims to help you to focus on building strong, trusting partnerships with parents and carers of children with SEND.

Course Information: During the session we will explore how to support and advocate for families when additional needs are first emerging and  offer practical strategies for engaging parents - even in challenging or sensitive situations. The course also provides insight into the parent and family perspective, helping practitioners develop more empathetic, inclusive practice.

Suitable For: All Early Years Practitioners. 

Delivered by:  Kelly Turner, who has worked in education for over 16 years. Kelly is a SEND consultant in Gloucestershire.

• Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date or 24 hours before a course/meeting starts (whichever is sooner). If payment cannot be made within this timeframe then please email training@pataglos.org.uk to agree an extension to your payment deadline, otherwise, your place on the course may be cancelled.
