This course explores oppositional behaviours is for practitioners working with children who demonstrate behaviours that challenge. It is intended to deepen understanding of the root causes of oppositional behaviours and to provide practical, evidence‐based tools for managing these behaviours without escalating into meltdowns. In addition, it helps to address oppositional behaviours in the moment but also to build a foundation for healthier long-term behavioural and emotional development.
The course aims to:
▪ Increase awareness and empower participants with an understanding of the multifaceted causes of oppositional behaviour, biological predispositions and environmental triggers.
▪ Equip adults with techniques for clear, empathetic communication that reinforces boundaries without escalating conflicts.
▪ Enhance emotional resilience and facilitate the development of strategies that help children manage strong emotions, reducing the likelihood of conflict and defiance.
