Planning for OFSTED

Course Aim: To support settings and practitioners in preparing for inspection in order to help raise or maintain current Ofsted ratings.

Course Information: This updated course will provide you with an overview of the Common Inspection Framework 2015 as well as to consider the current practice within your own setting in line with the four inspection categories and the self-evaluation process.

On completion of this course you will:

  • be able to identify the significant changes to the inspection framework
  • gain an understanding of the four inspection areas
  • reflect on your setting's current provision and identify areas for development
  • have an awareness of Ofsted's requirements regarding safeguarding, Prevent Duty and Fundamental British Values.
            

Suitable For: Anyone working within an early years setting and/or responsible for ensuring the quality of provision within an early years environment, including Staff, Committee members and Childminders as well as individuals seeking career development opportunities.
